In the beginning. There was fire.

Burning the material of my own clothing became a kind of ritual. The flames are hypnotizing. From the ashes I made ink.  A transformation of material that allows me to create new landscapes and surfaces. A feeling of freedom in today's world where nearly every inch has been explored and claimed.
